FACELIFT & NECKLIFT
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 21
Facelift, Neck Lift, Fat Transfer to the cheeks, Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty
This 60 year old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Facelift, Neck Lift, and Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty. The patient was unhappy with her facial aging and wanted a more rejuvenated appearance.
Upon examination, Dr. Agha noted that the patient had prominent nasolabial folds, eyelid skin excess, a moderate degree of jowling, skin laxity in her face and neck, and sagging in her cheeks.
To address these issues, Dr. Agha performed a Full Facelift. This included a Facelift, Neck Lift, Fat Transfer to the cheeks, and an Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty. He began the procedure by making incisions along the patient’s upper and lower eyelids in the natural eyelid creases. The excess eyelid skin, muscle, and fat were then removed to give the patient more youthful eyes with less full, heavy eyelids. Next, incisions were made along the patient’s sideburns, extending into the creases of the ears. Through these incisions, the patient’s face and neck fat and muscles were repositioned to create a more youthful appearance to the face, with less fullness in the jowls and under the chin. The deeper layer of muscles in her face and neck were also lifted and tightened to correct for any sagging. Finally, the skin was redraped over the new, more youthful contours of the patient’s face and neck.
Dr. Agha then added a small amount of fat to the apples of her cheeks to give her face a fuller, more uplifted and youthful appearance.
After her procedure, the patient had much softer creases along her nose and mouth and had a more refreshed look to her face. The patient’s Facelift before and after photos were taken 6 months after her procedure.
