Brazilian Butt Lift

This 29-year-old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Brazilian Butt Lift. The patient was unhappy with the the protrusion of her abdomen and the lack of fullness in her buttocks. The patient’s widest point was her lower stomach, and her hips and buttocks were narrow and flat. Upon examination, Dr. Agha found that the patient’s buttocks had a boxy shape. Her buttocks also had some dimpling on the lower cheeks, and were slightly asymmetrical, with the right buttock cheek sitting just below the left.
The patient wanted a moderate Brazilian Butt Lift, with a subtle increase in the size of her buttocks, and a natural looking shape. To decrease the bulging in the patient’s midsection, Dr. Agha performed Liposuction on her abdomen, flanks, love handles, and upper and lower back. He removed 2,000 cc of fat from these areas, slimming her abdomen and back and creating a much more flattering back view. Dr. Agha then performed a Buttock Fat Transfer to fill and round out her backside.
He used a low-pressure Liposuction to gently remove the fat cells from the patient’s problem areas. For all his liposuction cases, Dr. Agha utilizes a specialized technique that involves delicately handling the fat with extreme care. By removing the fat cells gently and with precision, Dr. Agha can preserve the fat cells and increase their chance of survival. Using this technique, he can achieve an 80% survival rate of the fat cells, which is incredibly high. These cells are then injected into the existing fat of the buttocks, rather than the muscle, as placing fat amongst other fat is the only safe way to perform a Fat Transfer.
For this patient, Dr. Agha injected 500 cc of the patient’s fat cells into her lower buttocks to smooth out the dimpling and ensure symmetry. He also filled out the upper buttocks to create a round and sensuous shape. The patient’s Buttock Fat Transfer before and after photos were taken 6 months after her procedure, and she was incredibly happy with her new voluptuous buttocks and contoured hourglass shape.
