MOMMY MAKEOVER
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 33
This 59-year-old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Tummy Tuck and Breast Reduction and Lift. The patient was unhappy with the excess skin on her abdomen, and the fullness in her abdominal area that made her midsection look round. She was also unhappy with her breasts after her previous Breast Augmentation with another surgeon and felt that they were too large and that they hung too low on her chest.
Upon examination, Dr. Agha found that the patient had fullness in her abdomen, flanks, and upper and lower back. The patient also had a moderate amount of abdominal tissue laxity, and a moderate amount of breast ptosis following her last Breast Augmentation.
During the patient’s Mommy Makeover procedure, Dr. Agha performed Liposuction on her back and flanks, removing 3,500 cc of unwanted fat. Next, the Breast Reduction and Lift was performed through Wise-pattern incisions. First, the excess breast tissue was removed. In total, 109 grams of breast tissue were excised from the right breast, and 103 grams were excised from the left. The patient’s implants were still in good condition, and as it is best to avoid changing out implants unnecessarily, Dr. Agha and the patient chose to keep her previous implants, rather than replacing them. So, the patient’s breasts were lifted into a higher, more youthful position with the implants remaining in place to add fullness and a round shape to the breasts.
Then, Dr. Agha turned his attention to the abdominal area. A second Liposuction procedure was performed on the patient’s waist, removing another 600 cc of fat. Finally, Dr. Agha performed his signature low-cut High-Definition Tummy Tuck. The patient’s abdominal muscles were tightened, and the loose tissue and skin were corrected.
The patient was sculpted from every angle, creating a perfect hourglass shape. The fullness in her abdomen and back were reduced, creating a small waistline that curved out into lifted breasts and a round buttocks. The patient’s Mommy Makeover before and after photos were taken at 6 months.
