TUMMY TUCK
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 28

This 36-year-old woman came to Plastic Surgery Body Contouring Center for a high-definition tummy tuck. Following multiple pregnancies the patient was unhappy with her abdominal tissue excess. Upon examination by Dr. Agha, she was found to have large love handles and a very large abdominal pannus. The patient underwent liposuction of her abdomen and flanks, and a tummy tuck. Post-operative photos were taken at 6 months after her surgery. This patient’s love handles were greatly reduced; Dr. Agha also performed liposuction on her stomach and sides in order to remove excess skin and fat. Along, with the liposuction procedure performed, Dr. Agha also performed a tummy tuck procedure on her. When liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) are combined it is referred to as lipoabdominoplasty.

A flat and well-toned abdomen is something that many of us strive for through diet and exercise. But when stretched too far sometimes it cannot return to normal, abdominal tissue doesn’t respond to diet and exercise. In these cases, a tummy tuck, may provide a highly effective, immediate solution in the treatment of stubborn abdominal tissue areas.
