This 38-year-old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Mommy Makeover, including Breast Augmentation and a Tummy Tuck. She was unhappy with the size of her breasts and her abdominal skin laxity due to pregnancies. The patient said that her breasts were a size “A-” and she wished to be a full B or a small C.

On examination, Dr. Agha noted that the patient had very small cup A breasts that were relatively symmetrical but deflated after her pregnancies. He also noted that the patient did not have enough upper abdominal excess to allow her to have a full tummy tuck and thus she can only have a Partial Tummy Tuck.  In the partial tummy tuck, the patient’s abdominal muscles are tightened but less abdominal skin can be removed.

Dr. Agha began the patient’s procedure by performing the Breast Augmentation. Incisions were made in each of the patient’s inframammary folds. Through these incisions, breast pockets were created under the patient’s muscles, and her implants were added into the breast implants. The patient chose 350 cc Mentor silicone implants.

Before After

For the Partial Tummy Tuck, an incision was created across the patient’s lower abdomen. Her abdominal skin and fat were then lifted from the abdominal muscles which were tightened, correcting for the muscle separation that can happen in pregnancy. The excess abdominal skin and fat which is typically less than what can be removed with a full tummy tuck was then excised.  Patient navel opening is then closed on itself as a small vertical line.  Finally, the abdominal incision was closed.

After her procedure, the patient’s slim body had a much more ideal smooth and toned appearance. The patient also had much fuller, more voluptuous breasts. The patient’s Mommy Makeover before and after photos were taken 5 months after her procedure.
