MOMMY MAKEOVER
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 42
This 57-year-old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Tummy Tuck and a Breast Implant Exchange. The patient had previously had a breast augmentation with Dow Corning implants about 30 years prior. She was also unhappy with the excess skin in her abdominal area.
Upon examination, Dr. Agha found that the patient had breast deformities, with her implants being pushed up high on her chest. Her left implant was lower than the right, and she also had capsular contracture on both breasts.
Dr. Agha began the patient’s Mommy Makeover procedure by addressing her breasts. A Breast Implant Exchange and Capsulectomy was performed on each breast through inframammary fold incisions. During this procedure, the breast capsules were delicately separated from the breast tissue and removed with the implants within them. Both implants were found to have ruptured. Then new, 350 cc Mentor round implants were placed into each breast pocket. Dr. Agha then turned his attention to the abdominal area. Liposuction was performed on the patient’s flanks to smooth the contours of the patient’s body.
Finally, he performed his signature low-cut High Definition Tummy Tuck. During this procedure, the patient’s excess skin was removed, creating a smoother appearance to the patient’s abdominal area, and decreasing the appearance of wrinkling and dimpling. The fullness in the patient’s lower abdomen was also removed, and the patient’s abdominal muscles were tightened.
The patient’s Mommy Makeover before and after photos were taken 4 months after her procedure and then again 3 years later when she came back for facial rejuvenation.
