ARM LIFT
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 3
This 59-year-old female presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for an Arm Lift. As the patient aged, her arms began to sag. This created arm tissue laxity, and the patient was unhappy with the appearance of the hanging excess skin on her arms.
Upon examination, Dr. Agha found that, though the patient was slim and in good shape, she had skin and tissue laxity on her arms and armpits due to aging.
To remove the excess skin and tissue, Dr. Agha performed an Arm Lift procedure. He began by making small incisions on the inner side of the patient’s arms, where they would be most easily hidden. Though these incisions, he performed Liposuction to remove the patient’s excess arm fat, slimming her arms and adding more definition. Then, he extended the arm incisions for the Brachioplasty. These incisions began inside the patient’s armpits, and extended down the inside of the arms, ending at the elbow. Through these incisions, the skin was tightened around the contours of the patient’s arm muscles and the excess skin and tissue were excised.
After the procedure, the patient’s arms looked much slimmer and more youthful. The patient’s before and after photos were taken 6 months after her Arm Lift.
