INTERNAL DERMAL-BRA BREAST LIFT
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS – PATIENT 14
This 56-year-old patient presented to Dr. Agha for plastic surgery after weight loss. The patient was unhappy with the significant laxity of her skin and loose tissue after losing 135 pounds.
Upon examination, Dr. Agha found that the patient had extreme breast ptosis, or breast sagging, and that her right breast was slightly smaller than her left breast. The patient desired more lifted, natural looking breasts that were a rounder shape.
To give the patient’s the breasts she desired, Dr. Agha performed an internal dermal-bra breast lift. He began the procedure by making Anchor-type incisions on each breast. This incision goes around the patient’s areolae, down the center of each breast, and across the infra-mammary folds. As an alternative to using breast implants, he reshaped the patient’s breast tissue and fat, creating a round breast mound. Using this method, Dr. Agha essentially created a breast hemisphere out of the patient’s own saggy breast tissue, allowing the breasts to look and feel natural, but have the ideal shape. Then, he sutured the breast mound at a higher position to the chest muscle while using the breast dermis as an internal bra.
After the procedure, her breasts were much more lifted and had the ideal round shape, without requiring breast implants or fat transfer. The patient’s Internal bra Lift after photos were taken 5 months after her procedure.
