INTERNAL BRA BREAST LIFT SURGERY

This patient in her forties presented to Dr. Agha for a mommy makeover.  The patient was happy with her breast size but wanted her breasts uplifted.

During her mommy makeover surgery, the patient underwent an internal dermal-bra mastopexy. This comprehensive breast lift technique was initially developed by Drs. Rubin and Agha for patients who do not have much skin elasticity.  Thus, the breast tissue has to be lifted and anchored at a higher position with no reliance on the breast skin to hold it in place.  Also, during this procedure, the dermis of the excess breast skin is used as an internal bra to hold the breast tissue at an uplifted location.
